From the Washington Post to Ebony Magazine to the streets of Ferguson and beyond, connections between events in Ferguson and Gaza have cpatured the popular imagination. This panel will examine and explore the relationship between race, the rise of militarized policing, and the response to dissent in the United States and consider its implications in a global context.
